Searching for ancient art work of the region
and combining fine arts
Inspired by holy books, traditions, spiritual religious symbolism
and rituals using water, fire & earth
In the work we combine text, song and lament,
in ancient Aramaic, Hebrew and Arabic.
Reflections;
all must accept the basic human right of a people to survive,
emphasizing their religion, language, traditions and rituals.
About mutual aid, and the love and respect for "the other"-
In a world where immigration is so prevalent, new cultures are bound to be created.
How are we as human beings, accepting those who are different than us, whether in religion,
race or nationality. Can we "live and let live"? Or do our biased opinions and fear
of "the other" control our actions...
about women's status-Many religions and cultures have minimized
the importance of women in the past still till today. In this show, the ruler is a woman,
We would like to suggest, at the beginning, of the 21st century, that, perhaps,
its time for women's reign (after such a murderous 20th century- male dominated society…)
