Actress, director, designer, writer, teacher and choreographer
Co-founder and Director of ARMA Theatre, since 1990

Gil Becher
Born in Jaffa, Israel. Actor, director, designer and teacher
Co-founder and co-director of ARMA theatre since 1990
Graduate of the Jacques Lecoq School in Paris and the L.E.M workshop by Lecoq (1984)
Founded (with Noam Meiri) a physical theater school (Teatron Haguf), inspired by Lecoq, in Tel-Aviv
Taught Acting at: The School of Visual theatre (Jerusalem), The Haifa University,
Matan summer-camp arts & theatre program (head of physical theatre program),
The Arab-Hebrew theatre workshop in Jaffa and many high-schools and culture centers across Israel
Performed with European theatre groups- Atrap (Belgium) and Folistic (Catalonia).
Studied mask design with Sartori in Paris. Studied hat design at Greta De-La-Mode School, Paris (1983)
Senior teacher of millinery-Hat design in Israel at: Wizo, Ascola, Shenkar and Betzalel design colleges
Languages- Fluent- Hebrew. good level -French ,English. basic Italian
